Camera modes info

automatic mode: automatic mode auto selects the best settings of shutter speed, aperture, flash, focus, ISO, and white balance.

portrait mode: putting your camera in portrait mode means it’s now using a larger aperture meaning the background isn’t in focus. Because of the larger aperture, it makes the depth of field narrow which also makes it best for single subject photos.

macro mode: macro mode allows you to get up close to smaller subjects such as flowers or insects.

landscape mode: landscape is the best for capturing a wide picture because it keeps the background, subject, and the scene in one shot.

sports mode: sports mode is best for capturing moving subjects such as moving cars and sports. It is also referred to as action mode. This mode freezes the picture in order to capture moving subjects.

night mode: this mode sets your camera at a low shutter speed to capture some of the background after producing a flash for the subject and foreground.

movie mode: movie mode is a way to capture subjects in videos with sound.
